Promising South Australian sprinter Gytrash will miss Saturday’s Bobbie Lewis Quality at Flemington after suffering a setback that could see him miss the entire Spring Carnival.
The Gordon Richards-trained gelding is suffering from a knee injury which is reportedly in the same area as the injury he injured last spring.
Gytrash was the $3.20 favourite to take out Saturday’s Bobbie Lewis Quality and featured prominently it a number of Group One markets.
Trackwork @SAJockeyClub this morning for @Racing trainer Gordon Richards informs me Gytrash has had a setback. He will miss @FlemingtonVRC this Saturday and could be out for the spring
