Halfway through the third round of the Australian Ladies Masters and it’s as you were with American Cheyenne Woods and South Africa’s Stace Lee Bregman leading on 10-under par.
The pair, who started the day on that score, both picked up birdies on the par-5 ninth to reach the turn even after mixed rounds.
Both made three birdies and three bogeys in their round to sit one shot ahead of England’s Trish Johnson, who parred nine holes to also be even through nine in her third round.
Australian duo Alison Whitaker and Minjee Lee are just two shots off the lead in a tie for fourth with Sweden’s Camilla Lennarth.
Whitaker has shot six-under through 14 holes to charge up the leaderboard while teenage amateur Lee is two-under through 10.
Lee, a two-time Australian amateur champion, showed her impressive class with a well struck chip from the edge of the green into the hole to make par on the par-4 10th.
The West Australian has three birdies and one bogey so far while Whitaker has six birdies in her bogey-free round.
Another big mover is China’s Xi Yu Lin who picked up four shots in her third-round 69 to move to five-under overall.
