Preview:

PORT Adelaide once again proved it was the real deal with a convincing win over Hawthorn last week and now face a Demons side which has started to develop a winning mentality. Melbourne is far more competitive than it has been for the past few seasons, with their midfield of Nathan Jones, Dom Tyson, Daniel Cross and Bernie Vince leading the way. But the loss of Chris Dawes to suspension will be particularly challenging for Melbourne to overcome. The Power are playing inspired football and will be tough to shake in the first game played for premiership points at Traeger Park in Alice Springs on Saturday.
