Preview:

HAWTHORN has won its past 10 games against Carlton, a club record, and that streak appears set to continue on Friday night. In the past the Blues have struggled to contain key forward Jarryd Roughead, who starred against the Eagles last Saturday with eight goals. Luke Hodge and Jordan Lewis also stood up for the injury-depleted Hawks, who remain vulnerable in defence. Carlton was unlucky to lose to Geelong last Friday night and will be boosted by the return of Chris Judd for only his second game this season. Bryce Gibbs is coming off possibly his best game for the Blues and he will need to reproduce that form to give his team a chance against the premiers.
