Queensland captain Greg Inglis is in doubt for July 11’s State of Origin game three in Brisbane after suffering a suspected fractured thumb on Sunday.
The Maroons have delayed their 7pm Sunday night game three team announcement after Inglis was sent to hospital for scans on a right thumb injured late in South Sydney’s 21-20 NRL win over North Queensland in Cairns.
Queensland were already reeling from the loss of bench utility Kalyn Ponga (hamstring) for game three and are also sweating on the availability of prop Dylan Napa (knee) before announcing their team on Sunday night.
