Injury-plagued GWS veteran Ryan Griffen has called time on his AFL career following the Giants’ semi-final loss to Collingwood.
The former Western Bulldogs skipper has endured a terrible injury run since joining GWS in 2014, playing a total of 55 games in four seasons.
GWS coach Leon Cameron confirmed Griffen’s retirement after Saturday night’s game at the MCG, saying injuries had taken a toll on the 32-year-old.
