Adelaide will have co-captains for the first time in its history with Taylor Walker and Rory Sloane to share the responsibility during the 2019 AFL season.

Walker has led the Crows as skipper for the past four seasons while Sloane has been elevated after previously serving as vice-captain.

Head coach Don Pyke said co-captaincy made sense given the growing demands of the role and the leadership capabilities of both players.
