Barr referred to AFLW tribunal for bump

GWS player Nicola Barr will front the AFLW tribunal for her bump on North Melbourne’s Ashleigh Riddell.

Barr was referred directly to the tribunal on a rough conduct charge for the contact off the ball.

The incident happened during Friday night’s storm-affected game at Sydney’s Drummoyne Oval.

Barr, the No.1 pick in the inaugural 2016 AFLW draft, can also accept a reprimand after a second rough conduct charge against Daisy Bateman.

Fremantle’s Gabby O’Sullivan can accept a one-game ban for striking, while Brisbane player Arianna Clarke also faces a one-game suspension for rough conduct.

North Melbourne’ pair Kaitlyn Ashmore and Tahlia Randall can escape with reprimands for their rough conduct charges and the same applies to Carlton’s Sarah Hosking and Paige Parker from Brisbane.
