Star Geelong forward Tom Hawkins is out of Friday night’s AFL preliminary final against Richmond.
The Cats have failed at the tribunal to downgrade Hawkins’ penalty from a one-match ban to a fine.
After an hour-long hearing on Monday night, the jury took just seven minutes to uphold the original ruling, that it was an intentional strike.
