An interesting way to begin the round and I guess that in Adelaide, there’s something of an argument to be made for both the Reds and Melbourne Victory winning.
It’s been a shocking fall from grace for Adelaide, who suffered their fourth-consecutive defeat in Week 14. This time, it was at the hands of the resurgent Glory, who wasted no time getting on the board and who ultimately put three past a leaky Reds’ defence. Adelaide have now slipped to seventh in overall standings.
The Victory’s return to form was halted by the Mariners meanwhile, in what was both an extremely disappointing performance and result. A far better performance will be required to compete in this match, but I think that they will respond favourably.
