Despite not qualifying for the finals, the reigning premiers – Adelaide travel over to Perth and take on the West Coast Eagles.

Adelaide, of course, is the 2019 reigning premiers and with the 2020 season resulting in no premier being rewarded can lay claim to the title, by according to Homer Simpson the two greatest words in the dictionary “De-fault”

The Crows were ravaged by injury in 2020 and if the likes of Annie Hatchard, Ebony Marinoff, Chelsea Randal and of course, the might of Erin Phillips will always remain a dangerous prospect.

West Coast enters season two of the clubs AFLW journey, having only won the one match out of six in their inaugural campaign and finished last in the B conference ladder.

The Eagles are still very much a work in progress and are unlikely to challenge the Crows in the season opener.

This is the first AFLW meeting between the two clubs.

Adelaide opens the head to head betting as the clear favourite.

The line is set at -14.5 and the Crows should be able to easily cover it.
