As it stands this match between the A-League’s newest clubs is still scheduled to go ahead Saturday evening and there is some value to be had in these markets.

Western United was off last weekend and they have had a fortnight to contemplate blowing a lead and losing to the Mariners.

Conversely, Macarthur picked up seven points from its busy week, which was good enough to springboard them up to second on the A-League ladder.

It was hard to not be impressed by their 4-0 demolition of an atrocious Adelaide United side however you would expect Mark Rudan’s side to offer up a slightly sterner test.

Both sides have built their foundations on a solid defence and you get the feeling the first team to score could come away with all three points.

It is tempting to go for the visitors as the underdog value play but I’ll go for a slightly safer option and back a low scoring affair.
