Set to hit the road after ending their five-game homestand with a disappointing performance, the Denver Nuggets will visit the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center on Monday night. The Nuggets were in action against Boston yesterday afternoon, losing 105-87 due to a disastrous fourth period which saw them outscored 31-8 – the fewest points the Nuggets have scored in any quarter since January 8, 2016. That defeat also snapped an eight-game winning streak for Denver. Elsewhere, Golden State most recently accounted for Houston 125-109 on Saturday behind Stephen Curry’s 38 points. However, it wasn’t all good news for the Warriors, with James Wiseman tearing his meniscus. Curry was similarly effective during the first game of this season series, although his 35 points weren’t enough to avoid a 114-104 loss at Ball Arena.
