The return of Tom Trbojevic has instilled confidence with TAB as well as Manly with the Sea Eagles the big market movers following round 6 of the NRL Premiership.
After “Tommy Turbo” inspired Manly’s 36-nil thumping of the Titans in Mudgee, their odds have been cut from $81 in to $34 to win the title. Remarkably they were $101 a fortnight ago following a fourth straight loss to start the season. They’re now $3.25 to make the top 8.
Penrith remain the Premiership favourites ahead of South Sydney but Melbourne’s odds have shortened to $5.00 with their win over the Roosters, who like Canberra, Gold Coast and the Dragons have all drifted after weekend defeats. The winless Bulldogs are now $1,001 to win the title.
