Euro 2020 Odds and Betting Preview – 2021

Four-time World Cup winners Italy have been heavily backed in the past 24 hours with TAB to go all-the-way at Euro 2020.

The co-hosts have firmed from $9-$8 during that span but were still $10 at the start of the week. A flood of big bets, including $5,000 @ $8, have come in for the Azzurri to win the tournament which would be just their second success at the Euros and first since 1968.

Italy take on Turkey in the opening match of Euro 2020 tomorrow morning where the big money has also arrived despite them being $1.52 favourites.

In other betting moves:

  • France have trimmed up slightly ($5.50-$5) after continued support for the World Cup champions
  • TAB has taken bets of $5,000 @ $8 on Italy and $3,000 @ $5.50 on France to win the tournament respectively
  • North Macedonia fans will ensure TAB will have a huge liability to payout if the $501 shots claim the title
  • Spain have drifted ($8-$9) following a handful of their players testing positive to COVID-19
  • There have been several inward moves including a few for longshots Russia, Ukraine and Austria

You can catch all the action from Euro 2020 at one of many TAB live sites throughout NSW, Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania which will be broadcasting matches throughout the tournament thanks to our partnership with Optus Sport.
