Queensland is finally starting to receive some attention from TAB punters despite their record long odds blowing out further ahead of Origin Two at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.
The Maroons are now out to $4.50 to square the series after being $2.90 on Sunday, well clear of the TAB record of $3.80 from Game Three in 2019.
But they’ve increased their hold from 30 to 40 percent over the past 24 hours as money started to flow with concerns around the latest Covid outbreak being a possible distraction for New South Wales and the Blues shortening into a record $1.20 Head-to-Head.
After causing a sizeable payout for TAB in Game One, Tom Trbojevic ($9) is the most popular player in the First Try Scorer market with 25 percent of the money, with Latrell Mitchell ($12) next and rookie fullback Reece Walsh ($21) the best backed of the Queenslanders. Josh Addo-Carr is favourite at $7.
