Pittsburgh Steelers need to turn out of a two-game skid to keep their playoffs hopes alive – but it won’t be easy with their AFC North-leading rivals Baltimore Ravens coming to town.

The 5-5-1 Steelers were humbled 41-10 by the Bengals last week – the franchise’s equal-worst defeat since 1989. Their usual decent defence crumbled, while veteran QB Ben Roethlisberger’s time looks increasingly like it’s coming to an end, tossing two interceptions including a crucial pick-six.

The 8-3 Ravens – under pressure from the Bengals – have been unconvincing since their Week 8 bye, squeaking past the Vikings, Bears and Browns, and losing to the battling Dolphins. Last week’s 16-10 defeat of the visiting Browns was achieved despite Lamar Jackson throwing four interceptions.

The Steelers have won six of the last nine divisional showdowns between the teams, including a pair of close victories last season: 28-24 in Baltimore and 19-14 at home. They will also meet in the last regular-season round.

The Ravens should come away with the W, but the under shapes as arguably a safer play with both offences in a funk.
