Together in the relegation battle, Watford and Leeds will be desperate to claim three points at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.

Watford is likely to be the more desperate of the two sides, with Leeds set to begin this fixture eight points in front, albeit having played one more match in 2021/22.

That gap was increased via last weekend’s top-flight results.

Watford was in action against Liverpool at Anfield, suffering a 2-0 defeat.

As well as bouncing back, the side will be looking to snap an eight-match losing streak at this venue.

Meanwhile, the Whites will be looking to maintain the upward trajectory which has seen them claim seven points from their last three EPL matches, recording wins over Norwich and Wolverhampton, as well as a 1-1 draw with Southampton last time out.
