Perhaps the most surprising thing about this matchup is that both teams are 2-3 through five games.

Admittedly the Saints were tipped to be a midling team flirting with a 50% winning record all season with the potential to bottom out or go on a run, but to see the Bengals in this state is a bit of a surprise.

All three defeats have come on the final play of the game but we are yet to see the full Bengals experience that we enjoyed in their playoff run earlier this year.

That inconsistent offence is a big reason why all five Bengals games have gone under the total points number but this Saints defence should provide a bit of a get-right opportunity.

Over their last two games against Minnesota and Seattle, the Saints have given up 60 points and we could see a shootout as Joe Burrow returns to the state where he made his name in college.
