Now sitting 16th on the ladder at 1-5-1, it’s basically lights out for the Tigers.

Last week’s colossal failure against the Suns may have been the final nail in the coffin of Richmond’s finals chances, but they do have a chance to keep their mathetmatical pulse alive against a West Coast outfit that appears destined for the wooden spoon.

The Eagles suffered their fifth-straight loss to Carlton in another mammoth blowout at home last week, and with the injury list still a mile long, there doesn’t appear to be much hope on the horizon.

Fittingly, injuries have also been a huge part of Richmond’s season, but it’s hard to ignore the fact the Tigers lead the lead in clangers and rank bottom four in points scored.

Betting-wise, it’s probably worth erring on the side of caution in this one.

The Tigers have not inspired much confidence, so I’m having a hard time backing them to cover a healthy 40-point line.

That said, the Eagles have given up 100 points in their last five games, while the Total has also gone Over in the last six meetings between these two sides.

If those trends hold, Richmond to win and the Over looks the way to go.
