Punters are convinced Australian boxing world champion Will Tomlinson will successfully defend his IBO Super Featherweight title when he takes on South Africa’s Malcolm Klassen in Melbourne tomorrow night.

Tomlinson is a $1.20 favourite with Sportingbet Australia, while Klassen is at $4.40.

“Around 80% of the money we’ve taken for the fight is for Tomlinson and the punters clearly believe he deserves to be the overwhelming favourite for this fight,” Sportingbet Australia spokesman Andrew Brown said.

“Klassen has only had three fights in the last four years and they’ve been against opponents with only average records, plus he’s rarely fought away from home,” Brown said.

The fight will be Tomlinson’s 3rd defence of his IBO Super Featherweight title.
