The Mark Kavanagh trained Super Cool continues to attract heavy support at Sportingbet to win the 2013 Caulfield Cup.
Super Cool has shortened significantly from $16 into $9 favouritism at Sportingbet since the four-year-old gelding ran an impressive third behind stablemate Atlantic Jewel in last Saturday’s Group 1 Memsie Stakes at Caulfield.
“There’s been a constant stream of cash for Super Cool since Saturday including two significant four-figure wagers,” Sportingbet Australia spokesman Andrew Brown said.
“Punters have backed him from $16 into $12 into $10 and now into $9 and they still appear happy to take that price,” Brown said.
Super Cool was a $26 chance with Sportingbet in early August.
The David Vandyke trained Prince Cheri has also attracted solid support, firming from $21 into $16 at Sportingbet.
“One smart punter put $1,000 at $41 on Prince Cheri before his most recent win in Sydney,” Brown said.
Jet Away is a $13 second favourite with Sportingbet ahead of Beaten Up at $14 and Fiorente at $15.00.
