Preview:

It is now or never for the Sydney Thunder and the Brisbane Heat with a loss for either team ensuring they can’t qualify for the finals. Even if the Sydney Thunder win this match they still might not make the finals but they will be looking to break their losing streak that has gone on since the 2011-12 competition. The Brisbane Heat won the Big Bash last season but have been poor this season and must win all of their matches from here to qualify for the finals. The Sydney Thunder have been unlucky in their past two matches and will feel they have a great opportunity to beat the Heat at home with their batsmen scoring runs without the help of Michael Hussey. Stuart Law may be the key for the Heat as he might have to make a few important changes to the batting order with Ben Cutting being promoted in the batting order right at the top of many fans’ wish list.
