Even though they secured close wins over the weekend, Richmond ($5) and the Brisbane Lions ($6) have shortened in TAB’s market for the 2020 AFL premiership with Round 13 almost complete.
The Tigers firmed from $5.50 to $5 after claiming a hard-fought 12-point victory over Essendon at TIO Stadium in Darwin last Saturday night, which was their fourth win in their last five clashes.
The Lions won their third successive game and six of seven yesterday in a two-point triumph over St Kilda at the ‘Gabba and tightened from $7 to $6 to win their first flag since 2003.
West Coast remain $4.50 favourites after accounting for GWS by 12 points at Optus Stadium last night while Geelong ($6) and Port Adelaide ($8) did not budge after victories over Adelaide and Hawthorn respectively.
