AFL Round 7 Odds, Betting Preview and Market Updates – 2021

Melbourne is set to start its shortest price in TAB history when it tackles North Melbourne in Tasmania this Sunday.

The undefeated Demons are $1.01, which eclipses their previous shortest price of $1.03, their quote when they defeated Gold Coast in Rd 20, 2018.

Melbourne, which sits on the second line of premiership betting at $6 behind $5.50 joint favourites Port Adelaide, Richmond and the Western Bulldogs, is $1.32 to win by 40 points or more and is conceding 58.5 points at the line ($1.90).

North Melbourne, at $14, is the longest price of any side this year, surpassing the $12 it started against Geelong in Rd 5 and is the longest price TAB has posted about any ‘home’ team since Gold Coast started $15 when beaten by Richmond at Metricon Stadium in Rd 21, 2018.

Round 7 commences tonight with this season’s other undefeated team, the Western Bulldogs, a $1.53 favourite to hand reigning premier Richmond ($2.45) its fourth defeat of the season.
