AFL’s Hawks confirm Osborne ACL injury

Hawthorn have confirmed forward Michael Osborne has an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, but it is not a complete tear.

The Hawks will consult a specialist early in the coming week to assess treatment options.

The 29-year-old injured his left knee late in Friday night’s big win over Melbourne at the MCG.

The Hawks said scans on Saturday confirmed a high grade but incomplete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament and lateral ligament.
