Midfielder Noah Anderson has become the latest Gold Coast young gun to commit his future to the AFL club, signing a two-year contract extension.
The No.2 pick from last year’s draft, Anderson has been ever-present for the Suns in his debut season and was named the Rising Star nominee in round seven.
The 19-year-old joins good mate and No.1 pick Matt Rowell in committing to the Suns after Rowell signed a two-year extension of his own earlier this month.
“It was a pretty easy decision,” Anderson said.
“It’s really exciting what we’re trying to build as a football club on the Coast and I really like the brand of football we’re trying to play.”
Rowell and Anderson are among a group of young Suns to lock in extended deals with Ben King, Jack Lukosius, Izak Rankine, Ben Ainsworth and Jack Bowes all signing extensions last year.
