KEY MOVES IN THE 2020 AFL TRADE PERIOD

* Jeremy Cameron (Greater Western Sydney to Geelong) – It came down to the wire but the 2019 Coleman medallist got his wish and ended up at Geelong. The Cats had to give up three first-round draft picks for arguably the best player in the Giants’ short history.

* Adam Treloar (Collingwood to Western Bulldogs) – A messy exit from Collingwood, with the contracted Treloar told to explore a trade. The star midfielder will bolster an already star-studded Bulldogs’ on-ball brigade after the club kept Josh Dunkley, turning down his trade request to Essendon.

* Jaidyn Stephenson (Collingwood to North Melbourne) – The 2018 Rising Star winner unexpectedly landed at Arden St on a five-year deal after a messy exit from the Magpies. The forward was a casualty of Collingwood’s salary cap debacle and was forced to explore a trade despite having three years to run on his contract.

* Ben Brown (North Melbourne to Melbourne) – A four-time Kangaroos leading goalkicker, Brown moved to the Demons after a poor 2020 campaign. North were adamant about trading him and Melbourne secured the full-forward for a cut-price deal.

* Jack Higgins (Richmond to St Kilda) – The popular 21-year-old is off to the club he grew up passionately supporting as a child. In-and-out of the all-conquering Richmond team since 2018, Higgins is seeking greater opportunities at Moorabbin.

* Adam Saad (Essendon to Carlton) – The standoff between the arch rivals for Saad finally ceased with the dashing defender heading to Princes Park and pick eight ending up at Essendon.
