A fascinating encounter awaits as the Brisbane Lions plays host to the Adelaide Crows this Sunday.

After an arm-wrestle of a first-half and which the Lions led by only 1 point at half-time, Brisbane piled on six goals in the third quarter, breaking away from West Coast’s pressure and cruised to a convincing 45 point win.

Brisbane are three from three, top of the ladder and boast a whopping percentage of 502.9%

The Lions have also only conceded just three goals for the entire AFLW season.

Despite coming off a loss, Adelaide will prove to be a far more formidable opponent going into this game.

The Crows were outplayed and outclassed by Freo, kicking themselves out of the game and being held to their all-time lowest AFLW score of 1-7 (13)

Sarah Allan and Erin Phillips were amongst the Crows best, but Adelaide did have to wait until the 6-minute mark of the final quarter to kick a goal.

Adelaide can beat anyone on their day, but they may be a bit too reliant on Phillips across the ground.
