Charlie Curnow got the best of Darcy Moore in their last encounter, and he would be looking to do more of the same with Moores lack of contact and one-on-one accountability.
Jamie Elliot and Brodie Mihocek will want to continue their form as powerful roaming forwards who capitalise on space inside 50, but the Pies need some more input from their midfielders to kick a winning score.
This should go down to the wire and will tell us a lot about where each team sits at this stage of the season.
Going off recent history, the Pies typically win the first of the two battles for the year, and it feels like they could turn the Blues season upside down again.
