When: 13:45 | Saturday 16/06/2018
Where: Etihad Stadium
Preview:
Despite their struggles, the Blues have told the AFL they don’t want a priority pick and they shouldn’t be asking for help.
They have had lots of first round draft picks over the years.
Freo coming off a win at home against the Crows and while I didn’t think they were convincing, they have some young guys that looked good which has given their supporters some hope.
Nat Fyfe returns for the Dockers and hopefully Sandilands comes back as well after missing the last fortnight.
Those two are a great combination in the midfield.
KEY BATTLE: Patrick Cripps v Nat Fyfe
Both are bulls in the midfield and hopefully they spend some time on each other.
The Verdict
I think Fremantle with the inclusion of Fyfe (pictured above) should win.
The Dockers have a 2-5 (28.6 percent) O/U record against Carlton since 2011.
Unibet Odds:
Carlton at $2.35

AFL News:
Fremantle star Michael Walters has been slapped with a one-match AFL ban for striking Adelaide’s Jake Kelly.
The ban was a rare sour note for the undermanned Dockers in their upset three-point win over the Crows at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
Star Fremantle skipper Nat Fyfe sat out the match as he served a striking suspension, with ruckman Aaron Sandilands absent with a concussion.
Walters was also reported for headbutting Tom Doedee in the same last-quarter skirmish.
But AFL match review officer Michael Christian deemed there was minimal contact and dismissed the charge.
Walters was the only player offered a ban by Christian on Monday after his review of round 12, with five others fined.
Brisbane veteran Luke Hodge was cleared of any wrongdoing in a bump that ruled Essendon skipper Dyson Heppell out of the second half of their clash at the Gabba.
Heppell was left dazed and bloodied in the heavy collision, but Christian ruled that Hodge was contesting the ball and had no realistic alternative.
