But it could have been worse for the star onballer, with scans showing the damage is to the knee’s meniscus, not the anterior cruciate ligament.
Coniglio suffered the injury in the opening minutes of Sunday’s loss to Richmond and his absence presents a major blow to the Giants, who are on a three-game losing streak.
