Crows tip Sloane to play against Magpies

Adelaide expect co-captain Rory Sloane to play against Collingwood on Saturday despite being barred from contact training because of an eye injury.

Sloane suffered blurred vision in his right eye from a collision during Sunday’s loss to West Coast but has been cleared of any structural damage.

“His only restriction is that he will be non-contact (at training) this week but we’re confident he’ll be available for Collingwood,” Adelaide’s high performance manager Matt Hass said on Tuesday.

The return of defender Alex Keath, who has missed the past three games because of an ankle injury, remained uncertain.

“We’re seeing some positive signs and we’re hopeful he’ll get back out there this week from a training perspective,” Hass said.

Winger Paul Seedsman was expected to be available for selection despite fracturing a finger in state league ranks last weekend.
