West Coast defender Jeremy McGovern has been handed a one-match AFL ban for his shove on Essendon’s Matt Guelfi.
Guelfi cannoned into a plastic chair and head-first into the fence after being shoved by McGovern near the boundary line on Thursday night during West Coast’s 35-point win.
Essendon’s Tom Bellchambers, Mason Redman and Dylan Clarke have all escaped with fines over their respective incidents.
