Franklin suffers hamstring injury at SCG

Sydney superstar Lance Franklin has suffered a hamstring injury that is set to delay his 300th AFL game, which had been due to take place in round 15.

Franklin iced up his left hamstring late in the third term of Friday night’s clash at the SCG, where he booted four goals to help the Swans to take an eight-point lead at three-quarter time.

The four-time Coleman medallist is playing his 299th AFL game and had been set to celebrate the most-significant milestone of his career at the same venue on Saturday week, when the Swans host Gold Coast.
