Following a heart-stopping elimination final triumph over West Coast at Optus Stadium, Collingwood has firmed from $21 to $11 to win the 2020 AFL premiership.

The Magpies were $3 at the start of tonight’s clash against the Eagles and as much as $5.50 early in the final quarter before snaring the lead and holding on for a victory by the barest of margins.

In TAB’s opening market for next weekend’s semi-final, Geelong are $1.72 favourites to avoid a straight sets exit from the finals with Collingwood $2.10 outsiders.

One TAB customer was left to lament when the final siren sounded after placing $32,975 at $1.40 on the Eagles to beat the Magpies before the first bounce.

Early in the second quarter, another TAB punter plonked $150,000 at $1.90 on West Coast to win by at least five points.
