Preview:
An early season top four clash when the Cats host the Giants in Geelong on Saturday afternoon. The Cats made it three from three with an impressive 24-point win against the Crows last Thursday night. The Giants’ victory against Richmond was perhaps more impressive as they crushed a fellow top four hopeful by 49 points in Sydney. An 11-goal to five second half meant it was smooth sailing for the Giants, who looked back to their scintillating best of a couple of seasons ago. Jeremy Cameron had a whopping 12 shots on goal for seven majors and looks in stellar form ahead of this match in Geelong, which has been far from a happy hunting ground for GWS. The Giants have lost heavily in their past two visits to the Cattery, with 61 and 44 point losses in the past two seasons. The Wolf has tried to make a case for the Giants, but the Cats and the points start looks the better option in this one, as they can really strangle teams at home when they get on a roll.
