It all comes down to this. Geelong and Sydney are the last two teams standing for season 2022 and will meet at the MCG on on Saturday afternoon to decide who will take home the premiership cup.

Geelong have pretty much been flawless in the back half of the season and will head into Saturday’s game as the clear favourites in the market.

Sydney have been rock solid for most of the season and should not be underestimated going into this game. They don’t really have any clear weakness and will take huge confidence from the fact that beat Geelong when they met in round 2 this season.

I feel like I may have said this last time Geelong made the Grand Final but this really might be the last hooray for aging champions like Dangerfield who may not get another chance to win a flag.

So who wins? I’m leaning towards the Cats, they have managed their aging stars well this season and have no excuses not to come out firing on Saturday. I don’t think there’s a lot of value on offer given Sydney are such a strong side as well.

Should be a cracking game and hopefully it’s another nailbitter. Cats by 5 points.
