Greater Western Sydney have turned to veteran star Steve Johnson as they look to jump start their AFL finals campaign.

Johnson was dropped for the Giants’ qualifying final loss to Adelaide, but returns with fellow inclusion Tim Taranto for Saturday night’s semi-final encounter with West Coast at Spotless Stadium.

In key selection news for Friday night’s semi-final, Geelong recalled forward Dan Menzel for the clash against Sydney after he was controversially left out of the Cats’ qualifying final loss to Richmond.
