THE SIX POINTS
1. The teams met twice last year with St Kilda giving the Suns a hammering on both occasions. In round two at Etihad Stadium the Saints won by 92 points, while in round 11 they notched a 95-point victory.

2. The Saints dominated both matches at both ends of the ground, kicking 42 goals and conceding just 14.

3. The Suns began to unlock the key to success at Metricon Stadium late last season. After losing their first 17 matches at home, the Suns won their most recent two, defeating GWS and Carlton.
