Two games into season 2020, GWS have had a one point win in trying conditions over the Gold Coast and an 18 point loss to North Melbourne last weekend in Launceston.
GWS had their chances and even managed to get two more scoring shots than the Roos but failed to make the most of their scoring chances.
The likes of skipper Alicia Eva with 21 disposals to her name and Alyce Parker with 16 makes for a formidable midfield line up.
West Coast are coming off getting thrashed by Fremantle to the tune of 45 points but it’s not all bleak for the AFLW newcomers.
The Eagles have a decent midfield set up and they actually won the clearances 49-41 and centre clearances 8-3 so it’s obvious what they do with them is room for improvement.
Both GWS and West Coast have had some low scores in their first two games but the Giants have been cursed with some pretty trying conditions in both of their matches.
If the weather holds up, the Giants should be able to get their act together against the Eagles this Sunday.
