The “Showtime” Hawks have become the talk of the footy world after dismantling Carlton last week, solidifying their spot in the top eight. Hawthorn’s aggressive ball movement and their ability to score from the back half caused the Blues all sorts of problems, making them a team that many would fear come finals time.

With two favourable matchups against the Tigers and North Melbourne standing between them and a well-deserved finals berth, Sam Mitchell’s side still needs to take care of business, especially with a backlog of teams vying for their spot.

Richmond appears to have thrown in the towel this late in the season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Adam Yze make some bold selection changes to send a message to a few underperforming players.
