Jack Riewoldt’s media ban may be doing more than causing a stir amongst the media, with online bookmaker sportsbet reporting that despite Riewoldt being the $6.50 favourite, only $379 dollars has been bet on him to win the Coleman Medal.
As a result, even the likes of small forward Eddie Betts and ($67), second year player Joe Daniher ($67), new recruit Stewart Crameri ($67), defender turned forward Jake Carlisle ($81) and the aging Jonathan Brown ($81) have received more money bet on them.
“Jack may want to rethink his media ban, as the betting shows that either punters are completely off him, or have forgotten who he is!” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
