View our live Hawthorn Hawks vs Adelaide Crows AFL scores, results, stats and dream team points. The match is being played at the MCG and is the second AFL semi final.
Adelaide commenced their final campaign as favourites but came up disappointingly short, losing (71-42) to the Sydney Swans but, by finishing the season in the top four, earned themselves a second bite of the cherry last week and made the most of it eliminating Fremantle (81-71). A concern for Adelaide Coach Brenton Sanderson will be the slow starts the Crows have produced in their two final appearances. A similar effort here and this game could be over well before half time.Which ever angle you look at this game, the Crows certainly seem to be up against it.
Hawthorn have failed only once to score in excess of 100 points in the past fourteen games – on the one occasion they didn’t, they registered 95 points, whilst the Crows have struggled in front of goal in the past two weeks with an aggregate of 17 goals and 21 behinds. That won’t be good enough against the Hawks and add to the mix that the Crows have lost their last five final games away from home, the short price about the Hawks is justified. It may be worth getting on them at the $1.55 to be 2012 premiers and wait until next week.
