The Cats look unstoppable at 7-0, and they come up against another big challenge to silence doubters in their quest for yet another premiership in this 20-year dominance.
The Dees had their struggles early against the Tigers, but class prevailed as they came home 43-point winners.
Conviction is still where the question mark is on the Demons. When you look back on their wins, they havent beaten a real contender yet.
The Cats were super efficient against the Blues, and even after conceding 21 more inside 50s, they punished and capitalised on turnover where their forwards went to work.
The Demons were killed at the contest against the Lions two weeks prior, outworked, and unable to get first hands on the footy which is the trademark of their game.
The Cats and turnover setup is second nature and this contest will probably see the Dees control a lot of the footy with the Cats hoping to punish in the corridor.
The Demons still have a contest advantage with the midfield comparison and if theyre able to win it at the source and lower their eyes inside 50, theyll get effective opportunities.
You can rely on Geelongs forwards to convert, and the form Jeremy Cameron is in, you can almost take a punt hell kick at least three.
The Demons have a big opportunity ahead of them to send a message theyre as good as the premiership contenders, and the Cats have another opportunity to climb the mountain that looks down on the rest of the competition.
These two sides havent played at the G since 2021, and the Dees tactically outclassed the Cats that time, and I expect they will in this one.
