Preview:

Port Adelaide play the Saints on Saturday, 4.10PM at Adelaide Oval.  Port Adelaide will be big favourites to win here, currently sitting in 1st ladder position and looking strong in almost every department.  While they did get a scare from struggling North Melbourne last round, Port are 9-1 so far in 2014 and look way too good for the Saints.  Not to mention, St Kilda are coming off a huge loss at the hands of Collingwood last round, and are likely to have their confidence shattered even more on Saturday.

News:

AFL star Cyril Rioli was subjected to a racist attack in response to a photo he posted on Instagram while attending the Dreamtime at the ‘G match.

Hawthorn’s Rioli, currently nursing a hamstring injury, attended the showpiece game of the league’s indigenous round on Saturday night.

Rioli’s photo, titled ‘Tiwi boys at Dreamtime at the G!’ attracted over 1600 likes but also a series of racist remarks by one user.

The 24-year-old, who was born on the Tiwi Islands – 80 kilometres north of Darwin, on Sunday posted a photo of the comments.

“In a week of celebration I get this s*** towards my people! Feel sorry for ya son!,” Rioli wrote.

The user responsible for the vitriolic message claimed his account was “hacked”.
