Not too many footy fans are shaking their heads at the Powers loss to Gold Coast at their fortress, but the hopes of top four start to become a challenge for the Power in a difficult run home.
This is probably the Powers last game of the year heading in as clear favourites, and its a must-win sitting outside the top eight for the first time in months.
Richmond arent easy beats however, theyre certainly competitive, but lack depth in talent.
Their last trip to Adelaide was a successful one for the Tigers as they beat the Crows for their second win of the year, so theyre certainly comfortable at the ground.
Port has continued to be there or thereabouts this season, no real threat to premiership contention but flat track bullies which guarantees them the bottom half of finals most likely.
The midfield is a class above for Port Adelaide against Richmond and the Tigers have fallen over when it comes to speedy transition, which the Power is capable of out of the centre stoppages in particular.
Richmond still brings a bullish nature to the contest and if theyre able to maintain pressure across four quarters theres no reason they cant stay within touching distance.
To ask that of four quarters is where the Tigers fall down, and away from home its an even harder task.
