Richmond Tigers vs Geelong Cats Preview
Richmond broke a string of five losses in a row by beating West Coast on Saturday.
The Tiges won that game by 46 points but it’s tough to line that form up considering how much the Eagles are struggling right at the minute.
Shai Bolton has found some form after a slow start to the season, finding the footy 31 times and botting three goals and new recruit Tim Taranto also continues to find plenty of the football.
Speaking of slow starts, Geelong has overcome a 0-3 start to the season to now sit sixth on the back of five wins on the trot.
And the most pleasing thing to coaches and fans alike is that the Cats continue to blood young players.
Five of the players that beat Adelaide on the weekend were 21 or under and that doesn’t include their young star Sam De Koning who missed the game through injury.
Unlike previous seasons, this does seem pretty straight forward and although Richmond will be pleased to be back on the MCG, they run into a red hot Geelong outfit that has simply too many weapons for the struggling Tigers.
