We could see some fireworks at Norwood Oval between two clubs with a serious point to prove.

After knocking off Collingwood a week earlier, the Saints came undone last week in a shock loss to the Bombers, a game Ross Lyon would probably like to have back.

St Kilda’s sound defensive structure made ball movement close to impossible for the Dons early on, but the effort level fell away late in the final term in what was largely a tale of two halves.

As for the Tigers, Adam Yze’s side managed to build on two strong showing against Carlton and Port Adelaide leading in, outmuscling the Swans for a handy five-point win that should do wonders for the clubs confidence.

Right now, I’m not sure which brand of St Kilda is legit: the low-scoring, grindy team that we came to know last year? Or the one that can’t adapt mid-game that we saw last week?

At the same time, the Tigers are still missing big names – starting with Noah Balta and Tom Lynch, who’s set for an extended stint on the sideline.

A week ago, I said the Saints were one of the most dangerous teams in the competition, and if they can frustrate Richmond’s flow and make it tough to them to score – much like they did against the Pies and Bombers – they should be winning this game. Especially if Jack Higgins continues his impressive form.
