If there’s going to be a game for Richmond AFLW to finally get their first win, it’s this one.

The Tigers are yet to win a game in their AFLW history, but so far in season 2021 are showing signs of improvement.

Richmond was able to kick the first goal of the game and the first quarter against the Dees last week was highly entertaining and competitive until Melbourne ran away with the game.

The Tigers AFLW in season two is already far better than last year.

They’ve shown in both their matches this season they can be highly competitive against quality opposition in both Brisbane and Melbourne.

Playing West Coast at home will put them on a more level playing field.

West Coast gave it their all last week against Freo in the Derby, however, their ability to get the ball inside their attacking 50.

A mounting injury list is a cause for concern for the Eagles and while they will go in favourite, there has never been a better time for the Tigers to get their first W in the AFLW.
